OCT, CCRC, Trained professional organizer
Fully bonded and insured
I am fortunate to have found a field of work which I love in professional organizing, that draws from my personal interests, life experiences, as well as my educational and professional backgrounds.
I hold a B.A in Psychology, a Certificate in Rehabilitation Services and I am a Canadian Certified Rehabilitation Counsellor (CCRC). I spent over a decade working in the field of rehabilitation, facilitating the rehabilitation efforts of individuals with life altering injuries and illnesses.
My love of children and pride in being a native French language speaker also led me back to school where I acquired a Bachelor of Education and became an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT).
I'd like to say that professional organizing was what I had planned to do all along, but life events led me down this path. Just like most of us, I've experienced struggles, losses and difficulty coping at times. These experiences lit a spark in me and a renewed sense of purpose that perhaps I was perfectly suited to provide just the right amount of support, understanding, compassion, creativity and humour to help others dealing with clutter. All this paved the way to a career in home organizing.
I am a Trained Professional Organizer, a member of the Professional Organizers in Canada (POC), an executive member of my local chapter and POC's Education Committee.
